Proud to be an ISO Class 1 Rated Fire Department

New Station Groundbreaking Ceremony

By: Taft Matney

On Friday, November 3, 2023 at 10:00 a.m., Greenville County’s Boiling Springs Fire District will break ground on its new headquarters station.

The groundbreaking ceremony will take place on-site at the corner of Hartness Drive and Garlington Road in Greenville County. (NOTE: The address has been assigned as 505 Hartness Drive, but it may not register in GPS systems yet.)

Boiling Springs Fire District’s current headquarters at the corner of Pelham and Garlington Roads in Greenville County was originally constructed in 1980 and has been expanded three times. District officials expressed to county leaders that with the fire district’s commercial and residential growth, there is no additional room to expand or plan for future growth if the district doesn’t move from its current site.

Representatives of the Boiling Springs Fire District, Hartness, Greenville County Council, and Hogan Construction will be present at the announcement along with visual renderings of the new facility.
