Mobilization to City of Columbia for Coverage
At 5:30 a.m. on Friday, a crew from BSFD responded to assist the city of Columbia with station and district coverage as part of a state wide firefighter mobilization.
The mobilization was requested by Columbia to assist with service delivery while many of their personnel and apparatus participated in the funeral of a fallen brother, Tyrone Weston.
The BSFD crew, consisting of B.C. Alleckson, Lt. Devore, Eng. Best, and FF Taylor took E-3 to cover Station 24's call area.
